Linksys Router - How do I reset my router?
Important: Resetting your router will return all settings to default, including your WiFi name and password and you will need to reconfigure all previous settings again.
Resetting your Linksys router is simple:
- Locate the Reset Button: It is located underneath the router with the word Reset beside it.
- Hold the Button: Press down and hold the reset button for up to 12 seconds. The light will pulse red, turn bright red, then go off.
- Release the button once it’s off and your router will reconfigure itself.
