Linksys Router - How do I reset my router?
Resetting your Linksys router is simple:
- Locate the Reset Button: It is located underneath the router with the word “Reset” beside it.
- Hold the Button: Press down and hold the reset button for 30 seconds and then release. The lights on the router will change during this time.
- Wait for Reset Completion: Wait 3-4 minutes for the light to turn back to solid blue (or purple if setting up a node), indicating the reset is complete.
Please note, that resetting your router will return all settings to default, including your Wi-Fi name and password and you will need to reconfigure all previous settings again.
