Refer a Friend frequently asked questions for existing customers
When will we get our reward?
Both the referrer and the friend will receive an email in 90 days after the friend has had their broadband installed. This email will have instructions on how to claim your £50 Gift Card.
You can choose a Gift Card from Amazon, Boots, John Lewis, Tesco, Sainsbury’s or Selfridges.
What does my friend need to do once I've referred them?
Your friend needs to make sure that they register for our Refer a Friend offer by following your unique sharing link. Once they've done this, they need to buy a broadband plan online. It's also important that the email address they register with is the same email they use when they set up their broadband account with us, as the Gift Card instructions will be sent to that email address.
What do I do if I don’t receive my Gift Card??
Once your friend has purchased a broadband plan with us, we'll need to do some checks before you both get your Gift Card. If you haven't received an email with instructions on how to claim your Gift Card after 90 days of your friend’s installation, you should check that you've both met the terms of the promotion:
- Did your friend follow your link and register for the Refer a Friend offer?
- Has your friend had their Community Fibre service installed and activated?
- Have they paid their first bill?
- Is your friend outside of their cancellation period?
Can I refer a friend who is already with Community Fibre?
You can refer anyone who doesn't have broadband with us. When you refer a friend, they need to take out a new broadband account by buying an eligible plan online.
Is there a limit to how many friends I can refer?
No, you can refer as many friends to Community Fibre as you like.
What happens after I receive my gift card email?
You will have 90 days to activate your gift card, and then a further year to spend it.
Please take note of the following promotion terms:
- You must use a valid referral link when purchasing your broadband with or without TV, Calls or Security services.
- The offer is only applicable for purchases online.
- You and your friend must be outside of their 14-day cooling-off period and must still be with Community Fibre.
- You and your friend must have paid at least one full bill excluding any free periods since you joined.
- Your friend must have been successfully installed and activated.
- You will both receive an email with instructions on how to claim your £50 Gift Card 90 days after the friend’s installation and activation.
