Parental Control Linksys - How can I block certain sites

If you have a WiFi 5 or WiFi 6 router (square-shaped on top) you can follow the options directly below. If you have a WiFi 7 router (droplet-shaped on top), Parental Control is replaced with Instant-Safety. Find out how to use Instant-Safety here.

Parental Control for WiFi 5 or WiFi 6 router (square-shaped):

Here is how you can block certain sites for a specific device on your home network:

  1. Login to the Linksys app and navigate to ‘Parental Controls’:

  1. Click on ‘Control a device’.

  1. Select the device you wish to block sites for.

  1. Select Block Specific Websites.

  1. Enter up to 10 websites and tap Save.

  1. If you want to unblock a website, just tap on the trash bin icon next to it.

The number of blocked sites will appear next to Block Specific Websites for the device.
