TV — How do I download apps or uninstall existing apps?

The Google Play Store gives you access to thousands of apps, games and streaming services. Here's how to find, install and manage them.

How to find and install an app

From the Home screen, go to the apps section on the menu bar.

Select the Google Play Store icon.

Search for a specific app, or browse categories to discover new ones.

Select the app to open its Play Store page.

Select Install – the puck downloads and installs it automatically.

The new app appears in the apps section of the navigation bar. Most services require you to sign in with an existing account or create one; some apps need a separate subscription.

How to uninstall an app

Navigate to the app in the apps section.

Press and hold ‘OK’ on your remote.

Select ‘More Info’ from the menu that appears.

Select ‘Uninstall’.

Confirm by selecting ‘OK’.
