TV — How do I pair and use the gamepad?
Your gamepad is designed to connect quickly and easily to your puck, letting you instantly start playing games from the cloud.
Initial Bluetooth pairing
On the puck, go to Settings (gear icon on your remote) → ‘Remotes and Accessories’ → ‘Pair accessory’.
On the gamepad, press and hold the A button and the HOME button together for 5 seconds to enter pairing mode.
The four LED indicators will light up in a flowing sequence. Within two minutes the gamepad will connect – the top LED stays steadily lit once successful.
Reconnection, power & battery
Wake/reconnect: hold ‘HOME’ for 5 seconds – LEDs flow until the top LED is steady.
Power off: hold ‘HOME’ for 5 seconds – the gamepad turns off completely.
Sleep mode: if it fails to reconnect after waking, it sleeps automatically after 20 seconds.
Battery: top LED flashes rapidly = low, flashes slowly = charging, steady = fully charged. Charge with a separate USB-C cable.
Advanced functions
Turbo (A, B, X, Y, R, L, ZR, ZL buttons): make a button send repeated presses automatically, which is useful in games where you'd otherwise have to keep tapping the same button.
Hold the target button and press ‘TURBO’ once for Turbo, twice for Auto Turbo, a third time to cancel.
Vibration intensity: hold ‘TURBO’ and move the right stick up/down to choose from 0, 30 (default), 50, 70 or 100.
