TV — What aerial would you recommend to buy and use with Community Fibre TV

For customers on our new Community Fibre TV puck service:

Forget the aerial – with our service you get everything over your broadband connection. This includes Freely, giving access to 50+ live channels like BBC One, ITV1, Channel 4 and 5 without an aerial. On top of that you get 150+ additional internet-based channels, a vast library of apps from the Google Play Store, and 300+ cloud games, all powered by your internet connection.

For customers on our legacy Community Fibre TV box service:

An outdoor or indoor aerial is required to watch live Freeview channels available in the UK. If you do not have an aerial, we recommend either High Gain Freeview TV aerial, which can be used both indoors and outdoors, or the Biling Freeview Aerial with Amplifier, to be used only indoors.

Please note, the above are not required - merely recommended. There are several (cheaper) alternatives on Amazon and other trusted seller sites.

An aerial is required to watch both live and digital terrestrial channels (e.g. BBC One, BBC Two). But worry not, there is plenty of content available without the requirement for an aerial, such as: HD channels and applications like Prime Video, Rakuten and YouTube.
