TV — Are there compatibility issues with certain TV models?

We've tested the Community Fibre TV puck with over 100 TV brands and models, and most are fully compatible. A small number of older or specific models are incompatible relating to the HDMI connection standard (HDMI-CEC).

A. HDMI incompatibility (requires alternative cable)

These models may not detect the puck using the supplied cable – use a different HDMI 2.1 cable instead: LG-OLED48C4PSA LG-OLED55C8PLA

B. Partial or incompatible HDMI-CEC (control issues)

On these models the puck and TV may not power on/off together, TV volume control via the puck's remote may not work, and the TV remote may not navigate the puck's interface:
