Port Forwarding - How can I set this up on my Technicolor router
- Ensure you are connected to the network using either a wired (Ethernet) or Wi-Fi connection;
- Navigate to the home router management page, http://192.168.1.1/
- Then click the 'sign in' button at the top right-hand side of your screen (as shown below).
- When prompted, please enter the admin username and password shown at the bottom of your router.
- Once logged in, click into the ‘WAN Services’ box to bring up the below screen.
- To add a port forwarding rule click ‘Add new port mapping’
a. Name: Anything to describe the port forwarding rule
b. Protocol: This is either going to be TCP, UDP, TCP/UDP
c. WAN Port: The WAN facing port you are forwarding from (ranges can be added by separating the numbers with a colon, e.g. 5000:6000)
d. LAN Port: The LAN facing port you are forwarding to (ranges can be added by separating the numbers with a colon, e.g. 5000:6000)
e. Destination IP: The IP of the device you are forwarding traffic to.
- Once you have added all the information click the little ‘add’ button on the right.
