How is Community Fibre’s Premium WiFi installed?
Our 1 Gbps and 3 Gbps Premium WiFi packages are powered by Mesh technology. This means that we can install additional routers around your home to expand the reach of your current home WiFi network to give you better coverage in those hard-to-reach areas of your home.
This is particularly useful if you have done renovations and now have more rooms than initially, have very dense walls in your property that might make it hard for the WiFi signal of a single router to output through the whole property, or have additional material within your walls, such as steel or iron, which further reduces the reach of the signal.
Our installation service is performed by specialist engineers for new broadband customers, who optimise your set up to your home's specific needs and test your signal strength to ensure optimal coverage. In some circumstances, our engineers may have to run Ethernet cables to more than one router. This is to ensure you get a stable WiFi connection throughout the home.
If you have signed up for Premium WiFi as a new broadband customer, your engineer will install the additional routers during your scheduled installation.

What is the Premium WiFi and WiFi in Every Room guarantee?
We are confident that our bespoke service will help deliver consistent speeds throughout your home, and guarantee WiFi coverage in up to five bedrooms and 12 rooms in total, across a maximum of three floors. If not - we'll give you three months' free broadband.
If we can't provide at least 35 Mbps WiFi speeds at the furthest point from the router after your WiFi in Every Room or 1 Gbps and 3 Gbps Premium WiFi installation, you won't be charged. Instead, we'll give you three months of broadband for free.
