Out of contract price increase frequently asked questions

Unlike other providers, we believe it is wrong to skyrocket your monthly bill at the end of your contract and, to date, we have not implemented an out of contract increase.

Instead, we are openly challenging other broadband providers and continuing to set new industry benchmarks by standardising our out of contract pricing. That's why we will only charge an extra £4/month on all our packages.

Who is affected by the out of contract price?

The additional £4 out of contract increase will affect existing and new broadband customers. The £4 increase will be charged to the total cost of your package once your contract comes to an end. If you decide to renew your contract with us, you will not be charged the out of contract price.

The increase will not affect your additional services, such as TV, Calls or WiFi in Every Room. This means that, whatever your total in-contract package price is at the end of your contract, you'll only pay an extra £4/month on your broadband fees when your contract comes to an end.

Is this the same as a Consumer Price Index (CPI) increase?

No, they are not the same. Our new out of contract pricing does not impact any discretionary annual consumer price index + 2.9% increases that may be applied on or after the 1st of April of each year.

Can I upgrade at the end of my contract?

Of course. You can renew your broadband contract with us and keep saving. We're often cheaper than BT, Sky and Virgin Media in your area, and offer the fastest speeds in London up to 3 Gbps (800 Mbps over WiFi). You can also build your ultimate broadband bundle with our Calls and TV services.

What options do I have at the end of my contract?

We give you the flexibility to either:

  • Stay on a monthly rolling contract and pay an extra £4/month starting from month 13 of your billing cycle (if you are on a 12-month contract) or month 25 (if you are on a 24-month contract).
  • Renew your broadband contract by upgrading or adding either of our Calls or TV additional services to your current broadband package.
  • Or say goodbye with no hurt feelings. If you find a deal from another broadband provider that suits you better, you will need to let us know at least 30 days in advance before your contract end date to avoid any cancellation fees.

Will my Calls, TV and WiFi in Every Room services also increase?

Our out of contract pricing will not affect your additional services, such as Calls, TV and WiFi in Every Room. This means that, whatever the price of your in-contract broadband package, you'll only pay an extra £4/month when your contract comes to an end and the price of your addons will remain the same. Please keep in mind that our 1 Gbps and 3 Gbps Premium WiFi packages are not exempt from the £4/month increase.

When will the out of contract price changes happen?

We will apply the additional 42 out of contract increase to your full package bill from month 13 (if you are on a 12-month contract) or from month 25 (if you are on a 24-month contract). The increase will take place on your regular bill date.

How will my out of contract price change?

We'll only charge an extra £4/month to your package cost when your contract ends. However, if you decide to renew your contract with us, you will not be charged the £4 out-of-contract increase.
