In contract price increase FAQs
What is your price increase policy whilst I am in contract?
Any customer who signs up or re-contracts from 05/11/2024 will get a £2/month increase every April, unless notified otherwise.
Any customer who has signed up or re-contracted prior to 05/08/2024 will get a CPI + 2.9% increase every April, unless notified otherwise.
When does the annual price increase take effect?
The annual price increase will be effective 1st April every year.
How do I know if I will be affected?
We will email any customers affected by the increase at least 30 days before the price increase.
What is CPI?
CPI stands for the Consumer Price Index and is a government calculated number that compares the price of goods and services now versus 12 months ago. To calculate your April price increase we will use the CPI published from January of the same year.
How much will my monthly cost increase by if I am getting CPI + 2.9%?
We will email you 30 days before the increase to let you know how much your bill will increase by.
Are there any exemptions?
Customers on our Essentials social tariff are excluded from any in-contract price rises.
Why does the annual price increase apply to me?
If you signed up during the timeframes listed above, then the in price increase is part of the contractual terms and conditions agreed upon at the start of your contract, unless notified otherwise.
