WiFi Frequencies - What is it?
WiFi networks combine both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies into one single network.
The two key differences between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies are speed and range.
• 2.4 GHz: Offers a larger coverage area but at lower speeds.
• 5 GHz: Provides faster speeds but covers a smaller area.

N.B. The Tri-Band WiFi 7 router (droplet-shaped on top) has an additional 6 GHz band. Like the 5 GHz band, this provides faster speeds over a smaller area.
